本論文針對布拉姆斯的《G大調第一號小提琴奏鳴曲，作品78》做全面性的分析與探討。筆者希望藉由探究布拉姆斯生平背景和創作手法，對於本身在此曲的演奏技巧與詮釋方面能有更深一層的見解，並期望對於想了解布拉姆斯作品的大眾能提供幫助。
全文共分為五章，第一章為緒論，一共分成兩節，第一與第二節為研究動機與目的，第三節為研究範圍和方法。第二章為布拉姆斯評述與G大調第一號小提琴奏鳴曲作曲背景介紹，第一節介紹布拉姆斯的生平，第二節探討此曲的背景時代以及創作動機為何。第三章為作曲手法探討，共以五個層面，包括曲式、動機發展、旋律、節奏、和聲與織度來分析此曲的創作手法。第四章為演奏詮釋探討，筆者將根據此曲的特色與創作手法，於弓法、指法、音量表現等各方面的演奏技巧做論述，以及如何與鋼琴聲部一同詮釋出樂曲所蘊含的情感面。第五章為結語，包含筆者在寫作論文過程中所得到的收穫與總結。

The purpose of this research is to make a comprehensive analysis of Brahms’ Violin Sonata No.1 in G Major, Op. 78. By investigating Brahms’s background and compositional methods, the author is able to gain further insights of techniques and interpretation of the performing art. Moreover, according to the research findings, this thesis can provide assistance to people interested in Brahms’ works.
This thesis includes five chapters: In the first chapter, the author describes the introduction, motives, purposes, methods and steps of the study; the second chapter introduces Brahms’ background and the motive of his composition; the third chapter discusses the compositional characteristics of the sonata from five different aspects: form, thematic development, melody, rhythm, harmony and texture. In the fourth chapter, the author analyzes the techniques and collaboration of Brahms’ music language. The last part, The article ends with a summary of the research.
