As the author of this research currently working in the field of education, I take observation on problems and phenomenon many children today have to encounter, including educational policies, families, and their peers. In the research I attempt to convey phenomenon and messages I observed, and often ignored by people in their everyday life, through my own creative works. The metaphors in these digital arts are meant to invite deeper investigation on its underlying contents and a higher level of examination and awareness. The research using Social Realism method, attempts to investigate children's phenomenon and underlying problems in Taiwan, beginning with my observation on elementary students' daily life experience, and my further understanding in contemporary thinking, context behind social trends and awareness, and culture background. I also undergo data analysis on previous references and studies, periodicals, publications, and internet resources in order to create the final works of this study. I strive to distinguish from previous stress on techniques and skills, expect to focus more on the relationship between 「image」 and 「symbol」, with a philosophical attitude. Restarting from a humanistic intention, I develop a genuine creative context to express the observations in my own style. After the research, I consider the environment plays a very important role in influencing children's growth and values. Teachers should help children not to be influenced by improper public or media information. In addition during my creation, I encountered difficulties and frustrations; however with continuous introspection and experiment, I gradually find my own art style. Feeling so excited about this, I will continue working in creative arts to attain self understanding and growth.
