This study investigated the oral reading training method which integrates sound production training and reading training. The subjects of the study are the fourth, fifth grade students from an elementary school. This study contains instructions in both whole-class oral reading and individual competition oral reading. First of all, related books and articles on oral reading instruction were collected and reorganized. Then investigations into the sound production training and oral reading training were done as well. In addition, related training methods were also collected to provide a practicable procedure to overall class in oral reading instruction and examples.
According to the concept of curriculum design, there are two frameworks utilized in the instruction of oral reading teaching in elementary level. The first frame is pronunciation instruction polygon correlation and the second frame is language sentiment instruction concentric circle polymerization. The last is evaluation of the whole teaching method and training instruction pattern. The instruction skills about oral reading teaching were collected as possible. This essay demonstrated the training procedures to students who attended an oral reading contest.
This research concludes that the sound production training which integrates oral reading is able to motivate the students in learning obviously. The sound production training is helpful to the stress and the sense of musical scale is helpful to the understanding of intonation. Furthermore, the rhythm training is helpful in having a good command of the language fluency. In order to enlarge the oral reading teaching field, it is feasible to develop the examination in the pronunciation of oral reading listening and to establish the tool of oral reading evaluation as well as to activate and enrich materials in oral reading teaching,
