The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between positive discipline and classroom management effectiveness of elementary school Teachers in New Taipei City. The instrument, Questionnaire of Positive Discipline and Classroom Management Effectiveness of Elementary Schools Teachers in New Taipei City, is used and receives 591 effective questionnaires from the teachers of the public elementary schools in New Taipei City. The research data was analyzed with t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation and stepwise multiple regression. The conclusions were summarized below:
1.New Taipei City elementary school teacher to achieve a high degree of positive discipline in the performance status. 2.New Taipei City elementary teacher in classroom management effectiveness to achieve a high degree of effectiveness of performance. 3.There were significant differences on positive discipline in the implementation of elementary school Teachers in New Taipei City based on gender, marital status , age, years of service and teaching grade . 4.There were significant differences on classroom management effectiveness of elementary schools Teacher in New Taipei City based on gender, marital status , age, years of service and teaching grade . 5.There was high positive correlation between positive discipline and classroom management effectiveness of elementary school Teachers in New Taipei City. 6.The positive discipline was a proper indicator in classroom management effectiveness of elementary school Teachers in New Taipei City.
