本研究旨在探討台北市國小六年級學童世界觀知識與態度之現況；分析不同背景學童世界觀知識與態度之差異情形；並探討不同背景學童世界觀知識與態度的預測力。
本研究採問卷調查法，以自編之國小學童「世界觀知識測驗」與「世界觀態度問卷」作為資料蒐集的工具，其研究對象為九十九學年度就讀台北市公私立國民小學六年級學生，總計抽取學童樣本 581人為樣本。根據受試者問卷填答結果，以SPSS 18.0套裝軟體進行描述性統計、t考驗、單因子變異數分析及多元迴歸分析等統計方法進行資料處理分析。主要研究發現如下：
一、台北市國小六年級學童世界觀知識的表現屬中等程度，仍有改進的空間；其世界態度則偏向積極、正向的態度。
二、父母親教育程度愈高、學習英語時間愈長、有出國經驗之學童在世界觀
知識愈佳；但不同性別、父母親國籍、出國地點、出國停留時間、旅遊型態之學童在世界觀知識並無顯著差異。
三、女生、有出國經驗之學童在世界觀態度較佳；但不同父母親國籍、父母親教育程度、學習英語時間長短、出國地點、出國停留時間、旅遊型態之學童，在世界觀態度並無顯著差異的情形；。
四、學童的世界觀知識以「父親教育程度」、「母親教育程度」的解釋力最佳，但整體能預測世界觀知識的部分有限；學童的世界觀態度以「性別」及「母親教育程度」的解釋力最佳，但整體能預測全球視野態度部分有限。
最後依據本研究之結論，對教育單位、教師、家長與未來研究方向提出具體建議。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the level comprehension of global knowledge and the tendency of global attitudes for the sixth grade students in Taipei city, to compare the differences between different personal background of their global knowledge and their global attitudes, and to explore the forecasting abilities of students’ global knowledge and global attitudes on students’ personal background.
In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the researcher compiled questionnaires about global knowledge and global attitudes for the sixth graders in Taipei city. The sample was consisted of 581 students with collected from elementary schools. The samples are analyzed by the statistic software SPSS 18.0, including Descriptive Statistics ，T-test, One-way ANOVA, and Multiple Regression Analysi.
The results of this study were as follows:
A. The students’ global knowledge was medium. There is still room for improvement;
and their global attitudes were positive.
B. Higher parental education level, longer to learn English, students with foreign
experiencets in global knowledge, the better; however, there were no large distinctions among different sex,different overseas location,different stay abroad,different travel style.
C. Girls, students with foreign experience in global attitudes, the better; besides these
two variables, there were no large distinctions among sixth-grade students.
D. Among these variables, only education level of father and education level of mother
can predict the global knowledge efficiently; in global attitudes ,only sex and education level of mother have predictability .As the whole study, the students’ personal background variables had limited predictability .
Accordingly, specific suggestions are made for education authorities, teachers,
parents, and for any further studies of this field.
