本研究主要目的是探討12到24個月典型發展幼兒的示意動作發展變化以及對其三年後語言能力表現的預測性。研究者以12-24個月幼兒為研究對象,觀察他們150卷CSBS-DP及113卷Toy-set影片,兩者均具有良好的評分者間信度,採用單因子變異數分析、事後比較等方法以分析各組差異;並追蹤這些至今已達4到5歲的兒童,使用REVT進行語言能力的評估,再分別以CSBS-DP及Toy-set與REVT進行Pearson相關考驗及多元迴歸分析。

本研究主要發現如下:
一、半結構化與自由情境間的相關性:CSBS-DP與Toy-set間達
中度相關。
二、12-24個月幼兒的示意動作發展變化:在CSBS-DP中之常見的示意動作、遠距的示意動作、整體示意動作皆有隨月齡增長而增加的趨勢。在Toy-set中之指示性次數及整體示意動作次數,皆有隨月齡增長而增加的趨勢。
三、12-24個月時示意動作對其未來語言表現的預測性:CSBS-DP與三年後的語言能力之間未有預測性。 Toy-set中與理解量表、全量表具預測性,但為負相關。

本文最後,研究者依本研究結果討論研究限制及後續研究方向。
