模型在生活中扮演休閒的角色，尤其對於童年。創作企圖以模型作為創作素材，將原本具象的塑膠模型注入新的生命。本研究範圍強調軍事模型對創作者與童年回憶的連結，並以戰爭情景、戰士、武器等等作為創作表現形式與符號，因此，在造型表現尺寸均限制在模型的比例大小；然而在這模型世界中進行脫離模型原始意義的創作，以期達成藝術創作的新表現手法，可說是在研究限制中意圖突破而產生創意。創作中也藉由過程探索塑膠模型本身的意義。

藉由模型情景的形式和「不在場」的觀點，思索生活中冷漠的產生，進而討論英雄存在的意義。議題雖然由戰爭切入，討論中卻與歷史性的戰爭無關，只是借用戰爭、戰士和武器等符號對於英雄與暴力做省思，並作為創作發聲的符號。

對於旁觀者的冷漠由創作之始的排斥，因著「不在場」的立場進行創作後，開始轉換角度解讀這些旁觀者，結論中以理解及同情重新看待這些旁觀者，也對於英雄產生新的解讀，此舉亦達到創作之初設定藉由「不在場」以超然態度從新審視事物的目的。

Miniatures perform the role of recreation, especially in the childhood. The artist attempts to impregnate the representational plastic miniatures with vital energies. The study realm emphasizes the connection between military miniatures and the artist’s remembrance of his childhood. Also, the artist utilizes war scenes, warriors, and weapons as the art form and symbols. The art pieces are limited to be as the general scale of miniatures in purpose. Although the artist still creates his art pieces in the miniatures realm in order to achieve the goal of using new expression technique, the artist has made a breakaway from heritage meaning of modeling and broken out limitations of the research. The artist is able to discover the essence meaning of modeling by the creating process.

By the form of situation scene and the viewpoint of nonparticipation, the artist cerebrates the generation of insensibility. Also, the artist discusses the meaning of Hero’s existence. Despite of the incision point of the theme is war, the main point is not focusing on the historical war. The artist has utilized the symbolic meaning of wars and warriors as the introspection and as the symbol of appeals.

After the working process of nonparticipation standpoint, the artist has differed his angel of the outsiders from excluding the insensibility of the outsiders in the beginning to interpreting them. In conclusion, the artist not only has understood and sympathized the outsiders, but also has made the new interpretation of Hero. In this way, the artist has also achieved the goal of reinvestigating things in detachment.
